I was born in 1992 in Culver City/Palms area of Los Angeles to a Hindu father and a Sikh mother. (Don't know how that works? Read this.)
If you don't have a lot of time to read a long article, then think of it this way...
Take a piece of paper. Write your name as the title on the piece of paper. List your qualities and all the different roles you pay. Think of you what purpose you serve in the lives of other and think about all of the identities that classify you. Do you notice how you qualify to be many things as once? That's how I identify with both my traditions. They overlap and synchronize in such a way that works for me and makes me whole.
